3D Art

Creating 3D art has been my dream since I had the Amiga, but back then home computers didn't help us a lot create such kind of art. When I got my PIII PC the first thing I started working on was 3D Studio Max, even before 3D Studio Max I was using the dos version 3D Studio.
During the years I tried to do different types of scenes and animations, but at some point I had to stop because my computer was short of hardware resources, until I had my AMD 64 bit proccessor, and the beautiful NVIDIA graphics card. That's when I started bringing my models to life.

My love to 3D modelling and animation is growing day by day, year by year, and I have plans for the near future to get some advanced training courses. For now I have the following models in my 3D inventory.

The Red Beatle - Pink Panther 3D - Oriental Corner - Poem of a Knight

The Red Beatle

I've created The Red Beetle for an online 3D vehicles contest entry.

The Red Beetle is created with 3D Studio Max 7.0, with 210536 polygons, 286526 vertices.

Each image took about 8 to 10 hours to render with mental ray.
All modeling, lighting, mapping and rendering took 1 month of my spare time.

Although I wasn't the winner of the contest, but during the creation of this vehicle I earned a lot of experience, and learned to do things faster and more perfect, thanks to those online tutorials and the great 3D studio Max.

The Red Beetle is featured at 3D Export website and selling for $69.00

Pink Panther 3D

The Pink Panther is one of my favorite cartoon characters, I always wanted to see it in 3D.

It took 2 days to complete, made with polygons, rendered with Mental Ray in 3D Studio Max 7.0 .

With sky lighting
Oriental Corner   Poem of a Knight
I made this scene just as a simple test for smoke, bouncing light off shiny metal and glass parts, and water refraction.

This is the cover of my band's debut album.
The helmet, the sword and the parchment are all created with 3DS Max, the candle and the T-Shirt are real objects.
